1. About this service

ParkingFineHelp provides an automated letter generation service for motorists who wish to challenge parking fines in the United Kingdom. We generate appeal letters based on the information you provide and commonly used legal grounds under UK parking legislation.

ParkingFineHelp is not a law firm, does not employ solicitors, and does not provide legal advice. The letters we generate are a starting point and should be reviewed, verified, and adapted by you before sending.

2. No guarantee of outcome

We do not and cannot guarantee that any appeal will be successful. The outcome of your appeal depends on the specific facts of your case, the evidence you provide, and the decision of the relevant authority or tribunal. Our service provides a tool to help you draft your appeal; the decision to send it and the consequences are yours alone.

3. Payment and pricing

The fee for generating an appeal letter is a one-time payment of £4.99 (inclusive of VAT where applicable). Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

4. Cancellation and refunds

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right to cancel. However, by requesting immediate generation of your appeal letter, you acknowledge that the digital content is delivered immediately and you therefore waive your right to cancel once the letter has been generated and delivered. If the letter has not been generated (for example, due to a technical error on our side), you are entitled to a full refund.

5. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and truthful information about your parking fine
• Reviewing the generated letter and verifying all facts before sending
• Replacing placeholder text (such as your name and address) with your actual details
• Sending the letter to the correct authority within any applicable time limits
• Understanding that the letter is a starting point and may need to be adapted

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to this service is limited to the amount you paid for the letter (£4.99). We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including but not limited to: the outcome of your appeal, any increased fine amounts, or any costs you incur as a result of using or relying on our service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

7. Consumer Rights Act 2015

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If our service does not meet these standards, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. These statutory rights are not affected by these terms.

8. Intellectual property

The generated appeal letter is provided for your personal use only, for the specific parking fine you described. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the letters generated by our service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
